1. Material selection: Balancing safety and weather resistance
The shell of the charging station needs to meet the three major characteristics of flame retardancy, weather resistance, and insulation at the same time. Outdoor environments require materials that can withstand ultraviolet radiation, acid rain, and extreme temperature differences, while indoor scenes place greater emphasis on fire resistance. The current mainstream solutions include:
Metal shell: made of cold-rolled steel plate or galvanized plate, formed through bending and welding processes, suitable for outdoor heavy-duty scenarios
Composite materials: a hybrid structure that combines metal strength with plastic insulation, such as aluminum magnesium alloy and engineering plastics.
